In dire need of suggestions, obviously not long to go till the date I plan to fly out on. I'm a competent skiier (blacks with ease,) and so far have done nothing but Austria!

that is only the "prevailing weather system" in certain parts of the Alps.
It is looking very cold from midweek on in most of Austria for instance.
