Mail for help.Help!!

Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better! Registration's totally free, of course, and makes snowHeads easier to use and to understand, gives better searching, filtering etc. as well as access to 'members only' forums, discounts and deals that U don't even know exist as a 'guest' user. (btw. 50,000+ snowHeads already know all this, making snowHeads the biggest, most active community of snow-heads in the UK, so you'll be in good company)..... When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

Instructor For Advanced Children Alpe d'Huez

 Poster: A snowHead
Poster: A snowHead
I appreciate this may seem a strange posting for someone with a place in Alpe d'Huez but at Easter, from 4th. April in fact, I have had to write myself out of the family trip because of work commitments etc. Unfortunately, or maybe it's fortunately, I have 2 kids of 10 and 11 who normally ski with me, and they can ski anywhere and pretty well anything, who will be accompanied by my wife who cannot and will not. So to take the pressure off and give them a chance to improve their technique I was wondering if anyone had a particular recommendation for instructors in Alpe d'Huez, preferably independent. Because I have taught the kids myself I don't really have any experience of the ski schools / instructors in Alpe d'Huez and none of my local contacts have really come up with anything as yet. Any suggestions would be gratefully received.

Don't know how much they charge, but would recommend Masterclass run by Stuart Adamson and Mel Mallen. I think the website is masterclass-ski.co.uk but sure you will find them on Google. They tend to get fairly booked up however.

Well, the person's real but it's just a made up name, see?

skitow, At this point in time I should imagine Masterclass are full, but it's worth trying. I've told Stuart about Snowheads, so use that. However the ESF will have lessons at all levels (and probably for kids better than yours), so if Masterclass can't help, book them in there - at least they'll have fun, and if they do pay attention they'll learn something as well. Very Happy

skitow, try http://www.snowgurus.com/, they have links with various ski instructors, used them to find some English speaking instructors for a mixed group, very helpful
