Mail for help.Help!!

Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better! Registration's totally free, of course, and makes snowHeads easier to use and to understand, gives better searching, filtering etc. as well as access to 'members only' forums, discounts and deals that U don't even know exist as a 'guest' user. (btw. 50,000+ snowHeads already know all this, making snowHeads the biggest, most active community of snow-heads in the UK, so you'll be in good company)..... When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

Booking equipment and lift passes with Esprit

This question is for those who’s familiar with Esprit. Do you think it make sense to book the equipment and ski passes with them or is it going to be cheaper to find an independent shop and rent it over the internet. We are going with them for the first time to Saas Fe. Would really appreciate your opinion. Many thanks.

Same answer as for equipment hire, but IMO the convenience factor is rather less dominent.

Well, the person's real but it's just a made up name, see?

Laughing as RobW says see my answer in your other thread......... but with Lift passes the price differential is much, much smaller, and of course you pay a GBP amount so you don't have to worry about the exchange rate collapsing again wink so I booked mine with the TO in the hope that someone will hand me a lift pass on the transfer bus avoiding a trip to the Lift office.

Elena, the TOs usually have it organised so it's much more of an efficient process from your pov. Equipment is always a laugh though, especially the crap, not quite so crap or the 3 years old option. Definitely get the lift pass through them.

If you arrive mid-day in resort, consider getting your own equipment but otherwise probably best to take theirs.

Equipment was cheaper as a DIY when we went with them, but it caused hassle for the kids as they have different stuff for their lessons. Get the adult stuff online and you should still save even with the exchange rate
