Poster: A snowHead
|
Need one on Saturday 25th January for one night, single room.
Any recommendations ? Cheap, cheerful and clean would be good !
I'll be arriving at about 2200 and leaving at 0600 so no facilities needed really, just within walking distance of the Train Station.

I stayed at the Cornavin about 4 years ago. I remember it to be fairly decent and convenient. <http>

Hotel Bernina, if they have re-opened after refurbishment, Immediately opposite the station and next door to the nicest larger in the world if you want a pint before sleeping I am trying very hard to fit in a meal and some beer there this year with the family. If you use google street map and look along the road just opposite the station and thereabouts, there are a lot of hotels in the viscinity

By Geneva Rail Station, do you mean the one in town or the airport one?
If airport, and loadsa luggage, then Ibis or any of the airport hotels will do free minibus (up to about 22:30 iirc, but not sure about the morning). Don't know any near the mainstation, but I'm sure there are several.
