(btw. 50,000+ snowHeads already know all this, making snowHeads the biggest, most active community of snow-heads in the UK, so you'll be in good company)..... When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

Skis and Poles Stolen - Cairngorm - 9/3/09

Unfortunately I had my skis and poles stolen from outside the daylodge at Cairngorm Mountain on 9/3/09. I had left them outside as I went to search for the person who had the keys to my transport to put them away (ironic or what).

Atomic SL10 163cm, 2009 model, and Leki GS poles, trigger strap, 130cm.

If they appear on any classifieds could you please drop me a line.

From staff here have been a few thefts this season from outside the daylodge.

Damn. sorry to hear about that.

I have looked at all the skis sitting around and thought to myself that they arent very safe - but that seems to be the way it works with skiing - a bit of trust for your fellow man
