Mail for help.Help!!

Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better! Registration's totally free, of course, and makes snowHeads easier to use and to understand, gives better searching, filtering etc. as well as access to 'members only' forums, discounts and deals that U don't even know exist as a 'guest' user. (btw. 50,000+ snowHeads already know all this, making snowHeads the biggest, most active community of snow-heads in the UK, so you'll be in good company)..... When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

Does anyone know what the snow is like is Belle Plagne in April
( specifically this year for Easter - 12th April ) does the snow hold good ? or will it be a waste of time ???

Thanks in advance

I'm sure it will be fine. I've skied in Les Arcs several times at Easter, and later in April, and the snow has always been good.

Well, the person's real but it's just a made up name, see?

gazza2, we went there years ago at that time, and it was fine, and given like Guvnor, says, there are tonnes of snow at the mo. it should be springlike but fine.

We were in Belle Plagne, must be 6 years ago right at the very, very end of the season 26th April or thereabouts. Have no idea what the preceding weeks were like but seems unlikely that they were any better than they are now. Anyway, back then everything above Bellecote was just fine; a tad scratchy in the morning/slushy in the afternoon on the lower (2000m) slopes but anything above that was just peachy. A heck of a lot is going to have to happen between now and then to make it a waste of time I would think.
