Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better! When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

Morzine - staying near Super Morzine Bubble - which areas is this best for

Hi,

We are off to Morzine on 14th March and staying in a new chalet which is a short walk from the Super Morzine Bubble.

Which area does this give us quickest access to? Morzine and Les Gets side or Avoriaz?

We have a baby in L'Outa creche in the morning, and i'm not sure how near this is to the bubble, any ideas?

Just trying to work out the logistics of where best to ski after we've dropped him off and to ensure one of us can get back by 1pm and find somewhere nice nearby for some lunch.

As always, any suggestions welcome!

Super Morzine goes up to Avoriaz. However it is only a 3-4 minute walk from this lift to the main Plenney lift to Morzine.

I'm not sure where the creche is, however getting back from Avoriaz takes quite a while, well over an hour if you're on the Chatel side whereas Morzine is a lot more compact to ski. What I'm saying in a long-winded way is you won't get much skiing done on the Avoriaz side unless you stick to the closest areas of Avoriaz as you need to head back early. Eat after the pickup, in Morzine, to max out your snow time.
