I guess Deep Heat or its equivalent exists in France - what do I need to look for in the local Spa or chemists?

fleetelise, we use Ketum which can be bought in any french pharmacie but you won't find it in a Spar and is pretty much the same thing as Deep Heat. I'm pretty sure you don't need a prescription but it's a while since I bought some, even if it was only available on prescription you could still go to a pharmacie and ask for something similar to Ketum. Hope you won't need too much of it

I use biblical quantities of Deep Heat, applied just before bed it warms my legs nicely!
The worry of course is that it splits in my case on the way over and everything smells, so i just wondered if its something I could save packing space on, and buy in resort.

fleetelise, Wrap your deepheat up in a couple of plastic bags before you go.
