Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better! Registration's totally free, of course, and makes snowHeads easier to use and to understand, gives better searching, filtering etc. as well as access to 'members only' forums, discounts and deals that U don't even know exist as a 'guest' user. (btw. 50,000+ snowHeads already know all this, making snowHeads the biggest, most active community of snow-heads in the UK, so you'll be in good company)..... When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

4 Day break in Les Gets

Anyone any ideas on whether accomodation Sat-Tuesday is possible in Les Gets? Have a friend who's booked flights to Geneva, is wondering where to go/stay. Any suggestions much appreciated.

They will do short breaks - other hotels will too, but at their convenience depending on when and what they have left! When were you thinking? They have another part of the hotel (Boomerang II) which is at the end of the village but no more than 10mins to Chavannes lift which is cheaper. I would describe as 'clean & comfortable' not luxurious.

My wife and I stayed in the hotel MontChery last year (Wednesday-Saturday from memory) and I would highly recomend it !

Perfect location in the centre of Les Gets facing the slopes opposite the Chavannes chairlifts. 3* hotel with lovely swimming pool and jacuzzi for relaxing after days ski-ing and the bedrooms were a decent size and clean.

I don't think last year they were doing evening meals which suited my wife and I as we don;t like being tied to the hotel for evening meals so bed and breakfast suited us just fine.

Hairy Boy, Haven't stayed there but know from family's experience that they are the worst culprits for being inflexible at peak times! But agree, nice hotel and perfect location. I have noticed that they are now doing evening meals again. Big plans for this building, so make the most of it.

bad dates as French schools still off until 2nd March. Most of Les Gets will only accept week booking in my experience, but good luck
