Help!!
Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better!
Registration's totally free, of course, and makes snowHeads easier to use and to understand, gives better searching, filtering etc. as well as access to 'members only' forums, discounts and deals that U don't even know exist as a 'guest' user. (btw. 50,000+ snowHeads already know all this, making snowHeads the biggest, most active community of snow-heads in the UK, so you'll be in good company)..... When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

Just returned from a ski coaching week with BOBSKI-- It was EXCELLENT!!!! Have learnt loads and cannot praise Bob enough for his time, patience and knowledge which got me skiing (on day 2) better than I have ever skiied before. Bob's motto is 'Your learning curve is steepest when the slope isn't'- which for a nervous wreck like me was just what I was after. Bob also runs advanced/off piste courses too. Overall can't praise him enough- he gives you 100% and helps you achieve things you never thought possible. I will definitly be booking again for next year!

, sounds good - where is he based?
Well, the person's real but it's just a made up name, see?

, He sounds sensible - I spend hours persuading people that they can't learn on steep slopes. Learn on gentle slopes and then transfer what you've learned onto gradually steeper slopes. In 32 years of teaching ski-ing I've only ever met one person who could learn better on black than on green!

, He runs a couple of courses a year in either Tignes, Chamonix, or Baqueira Beret. His website is
www.bobski.com.
He is based in Uk and is very good at responding to queries.
Anyway, snowHeads is much more fun if you do.

That looks really good. Coaching definitely the way forward, especially for breaking through plateaus.
For a rather different alternative, I had a cracking day with Stephan Skrober of ID-Freeride (
www.idfreeride.com
). Picked me out of some bad habits, took me out of my comfort zone a bit and generally had a lot of fun. Can't recommend highly enough.
