Poster: A snowHead

Wearing bikinis and holding signs that read, "Warm Your Buns Without Fur", Snow Bunnies will greet skiers and snowboarders at the main entrance to the race stadium at Garmisch (Germany) this Saturday. Protesting against the wearing of fur, the girls will be holding snowboards emblazoned with the message "Be Fur-Free!"
PETA's "Bunnies" have also visited World Cup events in Wengen (Switzerland) and Kitzbuehel (Austria)....See: http://blog.peta.org.uk/

Obviously A snowHead isn't a real person

thefatcontroller, I blame the sados who are pressuring admin. There are minds that are completely unable to differentiate between a individual's choice to display and the abuse of private images. The word 'objectify' has been used on a number of occasions . . . which is interesting, since it has little meaning beyond drawing attention to a subject. All of the images used in this thread (and the DogTag advert to its side) feature people wearing a limited yet still publicly acceptable, at least in our western society, amount of clothing. Most of these images have been from open and promotional sources where the pictured person is a participant.
The censure of an image is in the mind of the beholder and defines the state of that mind . . . not always to the good . . . so I'm curious as to why any of the images have been pulled.
However any image that was taken without the subjects open or implicit knowledge or consent would be an exploitation that would not be acceptable.
The pulled posts should be restored or at least a valid argument for their deletion provided

My original (mainly tongue in cheek) comments are no longer valid given the link Alastair has provided below.
However...
Will say though that, as an Admin on anouther forum, whenever a thread has been split in this manner, a clear message is immediately added to both threads to mention the fact, and point confused readers in the direction on the other parts.

Masque, thefatcontroller, skisimon, what remained of the rest of the thread has now been moved here. snowNews is a rather public place for an argument .

Masque, probably should have been earlier. I'll tidy up this thread a little later. In the meantime, all further discussion on the other thread, please .
