Poster: A snowHead

Anybody know (I've tried googling) when this shuts for a return from B-les-B to Meribel in the evening? Or indeed does a bus (free?) continue all night? Might be nice to go somewhere that French is the Lingua Franca... (or, strictly, the vernacular, before some pedant complains...)

Take a pair of roller skates - easy downhill on the road back

You could always hitch-hike up and down ... the Bozel valley is the only place in the world I'd consider stopping for hitchers, and a lot of others do too.

Where do I get some anti-gravity roller skates?

not anti-gravity, but just as good, petrol powered skates! - http://uk.youtube.com/v/lR8WBHQsXwQ or alternatively say in Meribel until after the pubs kick out and then literally roll out of the pub and down the hill!

And love to help out and answer questions and of course, read each other's snow reports.

Ahhh I understand you know - well sort of - there is no out in the town in BlB in my memory - unless you're 102 and there to take the cure or a mud bath

You know it makes sense.
|
yeah no, BLB is a ghost town at night, no real night life to speak of, but those petrol powered skates would still help you up the hill
