Poster: A snowHead
|
Thinking of meeting up with a mate in Soldeu, Andorra for last week of March.
Have a choice of flying to Barcelona, Gerona, Perpignan, Toulouse or Montpellier.
Grateful for opions/recomendations on which is best airport to fly to with regard to transfer costs & time etc.
Already have prices on Novatel Bus transfers from Barcelona & Toulouse but no info on transfer times.
Thanks in anticipation.

Obviously A snowHead isn't a real person

transfer time is dependent upon weather. The standard TO transfer from Toulouse is generally 3 1/2 hours - but can be a bit less. Its pretty similar from Barcelona. The problem is if it snows ..... as we found out last year coming from Toulouse - over 7 hours!!!!!!!

Well, the person's real but it's just a made up name, see?

spyderjon, I know you can actually book a transfer only from Toulouse with Neilson. I dont know if anyone else actually does this.

spyderjon, I've only done Toulouse-Soldeu, which was close on 4 hours with a Tour Op. I think the other airport options have pretty similar timings - Barcelona, Perpigan and Toulouse look similar distances from Soldeu, with Gerona appearing the closest on the map. But they're having you on about Monpellier - it's nearly twice the distance as Toulouse!

Like Manda, I have only gone from Toulouse, 4 hours was good going ours was nearer to 5. Great fun resort but the transfer from hell, matched only by Livigno.
