Poster: A snowHead

Hi, just wondering which hire shops in Pas people have used?
I found this website http://www.pasdelacasainfo.com/and/equip-hire.php are they are offering ski hire and lift passes for much cheaper than everywhere else.
Does anyone think these prices are too good to be true??? (I was thinking of getting the 'superior' skis which are Dynastar Big Trouble's)

SlimJim0001, there is a good hire shop right on the slopes in Pas - over the road from McDs

I think the ski pack price is skis and boots, not skis and lif pass.
Mario's ski storage is well worth using.
We have used Surf Evasio and the one on the corner (cant remember name). SE - very helpful and willing to swap kit until you are 100% happy. The other shop was bigger with more choice but slightly more expensive.
Both had good equipment in good condition.
If going with a TO book your lift pass with them.
Duna Blanca is next to the Huskey restaurant. Not used them but their skis looked new and good. They have their own lockers and don't shut for lunch.

bar shaker, yeah the ski package is for skis and boots, but they're offering lift passes at a pre-bookable price. However, when I got in contact with Grandvalira themselves they said that you cannot pre-book passes; you have to do it when you are there.
I think I'm going to stick with Duna Blanca and just buy lift passes when we're there...it would be an expensive mistake if it isn't genuine

SlimJim0001, The office to buy your pass is underneath the main lift area at the bottom of the slope. You can buy them on Saturday afternoon to avoid the queue to buy on Sunday morning. The hire shops are next to the slope on the right hand side as you look up from here. If you're going with a TO check what their web price is on passes. I have saved nearly £50 on mine with First Choice.
I'd have a look in a few shops and try to haggle on prices... they will all do deals, especially if there are a few of you. You'll need to leave your passport or driving licence as security.

bar shaker, awesome... Booking with Surf Evasio through snowbrainer.com looks like the cheapest at the mo - £80 for 'gold' ski's.
We're not going with a tour opperator but our first day of skiing is on the friday so hopefully it won't be too busy.
