Hey buddy. If you want a cheap, reliable company, I would definitely recommend www.carrentals.co.uk. The site is really easy to use and you can find a good deal.

moomin26, More expensive for the same vehicle/dates/place than I booked last week via another site. Suppose it could be currency fluctuation.
And you don't happen to be connected to them do you? You seem to recommend them on lots of forums.

Avago, I don't recall which car hire search engine (if that's what you call them) pointed us at them, but ended up booking through CarHire3000 and the car comes from Alamo. [This is mid-Feb, 16 days ex-Seattle, for an intermediate size 4x4 - who is cheapest is likely to be different for elsewhere/different vehicle/dates.]

I have used auto europe a few times. The company is an agent and the final price (with all the extras) depends very much on which company you end up getting the car from. At Geneva airport, I have found the french side alot cheaper and quieter and you usually get a hire from europcar who I find have always given a good service. There are lots of threads on the french/swiss side debate
