So they are introducing a law for children, after an adult dies
I'm sure there is some logic in there somewhere

Well, the person's real but it's just a made up name, see?

It's like that in Italy already. No problem getting year 9's to wear them last year.

To come back to the OP, can anyone say where Times Online got this story. I haven't heard of helmets being made mandatory in Austria and I can't find any mention of it in the German language skiing forum I follow. The idea has been/is being discussed but I don't believe any decisions have been reached. And, practically seen, I can't imagine anyone introducing such regulations in the middle of a season.

Surely it's Helmut's that are mandatory in Austria.

You know it makes sense.

I think it was about the same time that "Key Stage Assessments" were introduced.
I believe it was with the idea that the whole period of education should be more "integrated". So that instead of the psychologicaly huge step of going from "Primary" to "Secondary" school, you just went from "Year 6" to "year 7".
Or more likley, just fiddling for the sake of it

To cut down on speed they need to stop the grooming !!
Who is going to check/test the safeness/quality of these helmets? Helmet Police?
