Help!!
Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better!
Registration's totally free, of course, and makes snowHeads easier to use and to understand, gives better searching, filtering etc. as well as access to 'members only' forums, discounts and deals that U don't even know exist as a 'guest' user. (btw. 50,000+ snowHeads already know all this, making snowHeads the biggest, most active community of snow-heads in the UK, so you'll be in good company)..... When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

Hi guys
this numpty has just bought
Movement
Sparks with Explore bindings, but is (almost) too embarassed to admit that he can't work out how to adjust the binding for boot length. The instructions don't extend that far, as they obviously expect you to get them adjusted in a ski-shop.
I have tried the screw in the end the bar, have found all the screws for the DIN fitting. I am wondering if it is the small screw with a star type fitting under the heel piece but that just looks delicate and I haven't get a star bit.
What am I doing wrong guys, HELP!!

It's been the screw at the end of the bar on the Fritschis I have played with before
Well, the person's real but it's just a made up name, see?

Ah got it, you are correct, I hadn't realised that the screw is actually the adjustment and it winds the binding in and out. I was expecting it to be an expanding clamp that locked it or released it allowing you to adjust by hand.
Thanks!!

The small screw (star/torx) on base of the heal unit do appear to allow it to be slid along the bar if loosened.
Anyone know what this actually meant for? (I used this to make a 5mm increase in length instead of the screw at the end of the bar)
