micky, you may wish to give the Fischer Progressors a look - as you probably are aware a couple of years back, Fischer rebranded the very successful RX range and Progressor is the new name.
I just picked up a pair of new Progressor 7+ from Sport Conrad for 299 euro, which I thought was pretty good considering they are £350+ in the UK. Don't know if Fischer do an equivalent in the Progressor range to the RX6 though

Ellis Brigham are doing the Progessor 7's for about £350 but if you are quick, use the code "0809CATS" to give you 10% off. If you order online I think the bindings are fitted free if you take your boots and ski's into any of their stores.

Thought the RX range was Sport Performance (Skier cross?), and Progressor Range was High/Piste Performance range or something. Maybe talking rubbish though. Progressor may be what you are after, or maybe RX8 Fire?
Was tempted by a pair of Fuse 73's myself (which I assume is the rebranded AMC range?).
