I'm looking at gettin a pair of 169 K2 Public Enemys ( 07/08 ) from sport conrad, and am unsure about which bindings to go for??
http://www.sport-conrad.com/index.asp?disp=kategorie&kat_id=40&art1=70005232
on there is my selection.
I'm 19st, 5'10 and "intermediate" (sigh) mainly on piste at the moment but am mucking about with freestyle and love powder when i can get it. any help would be much appreciated! and obviously I'd quite like to keep cost down:-)

anotherproblem, are you sure those skis are big enough?
I mean, I appreciate that you're rating yourself 'intermediate' and all,
but that's a bit like getting a tack hammer to drive timber spikes because one isn't a good carpenter.

anotherproblem, I would say the skis were not big enough for you either. I would be going for the 179's, you are a big dude.

anotherproblem my park skis were (just sold them) 175's.. I would have said they were just about perfect for me (6' 10 stones dripping wet..) A lot of it may be down to personal preference but I'd say 169s are definitely too short!

Have done some more looking into this and it seems I have been on the wrong size ski's apparently, will head off to chill factore and try out some longer skis and see how I go on them

In a stiffer ski, you might be able to get away with shorter lengths on piste.
A 169cm PE at your weight isn't stiff enough to give you any sort of decent grip on hardpack, is going to be way limited (read: wobbleicious) at speed, and is way, way too short to give you enough surface area to mean anything in powder.
It would, of course, be easy to spin in the park.

That very much depends on what -kind- of ski you were on. A 170cmish slalom ski would not be wrong for you.

No, I'm just being insistent with something that isn't on the site, because I'm not happy with either choice for you.

Had a look at the px15's comprex and it seems they are only available with an 80mm brake and the ski is 85mm

anotherproblem, any shop can bend a brake that teensy amount, and you _can_ get them in 100mm+
