Hi there -
New to this site, and looking for a ski buddy as my girlfriend isn't into the cold, and my son's still at school.
This would be my fifth trip, so I'm good on Reds and ready to take on some Blacks. I've skied Les Arcs, Tignes, Meribel and Cervinia and am happy to return or branch out. Chalet would be favourite and happy to share a room, but self-catering's fine, too.
Hope to book something this week. I'll be flying out of London, ideally Gatwick.

Anthony95, welcome to Snowheads.  I hope you find something - but be aware that that week will be the first of the big French school holidays. So destinations other than France might be better.

Anthony95, Hi, I am in a similar situation to you. The wife is not keen to go this year and friends are not able to go either. I have seen some availability with silver ski at keen prices in 3 valleys (fully catered, good accomodation) for 8th Feb but single suppliments are prohibitive. Let me know if you would be interested.

Sounds good. I've been advised that Feb 7 is the beginning of French half term. Would that bother you?

Anthony95, I had in mind chalet Le Biol, (depart Sunday 8th Feb) in Courcheval 1650, twin room with ensuit for £399 + £20. You can check out the rest of the info from their website. I have it on hold for 24 hours (up to 5pm tomorrow ~ 15th) so if you are up for it please let me know.

Ive not been to Cervinia before either, but I have been to Civetta, another Italian resort. Ive heard nothing but good about Cervinia and the current snow report is 300cm snow upper and 110 lower. Its on the Italian/Swiss Alps border and with the correct lift pass you have use of Zermatts (Swiss) slopes aswell, totaling 350km of slopes (for all abilities).
