Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better! Registration's totally free, of course, and makes snowHeads easier to use and to understand, gives better searching, filtering etc. as well as access to 'members only' forums, discounts and deals that U don't even know exist as a 'guest' user. (btw. 50,000+ snowHeads already know all this, making snowHeads the biggest, most active community of snow-heads in the UK, so you'll be in good company)..... When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

Hi managed to lose the tip cover from my 2009 Atomic SL10 skis, is it possible to get replacement covers and if yes from where?

Beans of Bicester stock Atomic so they may be able to help you out, if not they can send you in the direction of the distributor who might be able to deal with your request..

Would be asking why it came off also, unless it was something you did.. would be expecting a replacement if it just 'came off'.

it was there when I put the skis on, two runs later one was missing, no fall, or struck anything (indoor slope) and only their 2nd outing Sad !!

cforcat, I would be looking for them to replace it after that but heyho, thats just me. As long as you didn't catch it on something or lose it in a grass skiing incident..

Tip covers on Atomics fall of regularly, we have 5 pairs and when a first tip came off I thought 'that's odd, they are bolted on'.. A close look revealed that the bolt heads are actually a plastic detail in the plastic tip, and are cosmetic, ie ain't real! The tip just is a push fit on the ski, so while you are ordering one grab several! wink

Actually if you ski tour, just pull both covers off, & throw them away. The ski may look odd, but the notches in the ski are a great place to hook the skins! Very Happy Very Happy
