Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better! (btw. 50,000+ snowHeads already know all this, making snowHeads the biggest, most active community of snow-heads in the UK, so you'll be in good company)..... When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

Turin to Verbier - Do I need a vignette for the A21 (E27) ?

Can't find a definitive answer anywhere as some websites contradict each other. Is the A21(E27) that goes through the Grand Saint Bernard Tunnel a Swiss expressway that requires a vignette?

Any help would be appreciated as we go on Saturday.

No it doesn't as they charge you a ridiculous amount to go through the tunnel in the first place!

Great, that's one less expense. Don't suppose you know whether the service station at the border hires snow chains or am I likely to need them on the way up in Italy also? The car hire company was quoting 12 euros a day for snow chain hire.
