Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better! Registration's totally free, of course, and makes snowHeads easier to use and to understand, gives better searching, filtering etc. as well as access to 'members only' forums, discounts and deals that U don't even know exist as a 'guest' user. (btw. 50,000+ snowHeads already know all this, making snowHeads the biggest, most active community of snow-heads in the UK, so you'll be in good company)..... When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

Anyone want to share a car to the Alps 20th Dec return 1/2Jan

Does anyone want to share costs and help keep me awake on a trip down to the alps this weekend?

I am planning to drive down to the Alps on Fri 19th December heading to Zermatt, but can be a bit flexible if not too far off route.

I am planning to go from Newhaven to Dieppe on a Friday's 18.00 crossing but if you live near Dover/Calais can be an option as the ferry isn't booked yet, but this route is looking to be the cheapest. I will have room for up to 3/4 extra passengers.

The total cost including fuel ferries and tolls should be no more than £300 (Ferry + £170) between however many are sharing

I have a non smoking Grand Espace
I also have a return booked for the 2nd Jan departing Calais at 10am and again will have space for up to 3 people (My daughter will be returning with me). I am planning to leave Zermatt teatime Jan 1st.
