Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better! Registration's totally free, of course, and makes snowHeads easier to use and to understand, gives better searching, filtering etc. as well as access to 'members only' forums, discounts and deals that U don't even know exist as a 'guest' user. (btw. 50,000+ snowHeads already know all this, making snowHeads the biggest, most active community of snow-heads in the UK, so you'll be in good company)..... When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

Any good? As in... why are TK Maxx selling a current season item (so they tell me) for £59 (less 2.5% VAT), when it started life (so they claim) at £250. Bargain of the century, or marketing gag of the century?

Google doesn't come up with much; a search on here suggests one or two people like their 20 year old Tenson jackets; they've got a nice shiny website.

Is this any better than Dare 2 Be?

I've had a Tenson soft shell windproof for about four years now, it's great. I've skiied in it in spring conditions, and I wear it most of the year round as my day to day jacket. I too go mine from Tacky Maxx. I'd be happy to buy more Tenson gear

James the Last, We bought a Tenson jacket from TK Maxx last year. It has been fine and I would happily buy another (I tend to ignore the RRP and look at the quality versus actual TK Maxx price)

the mrs and i both have Tenson salopettes - plenty quality as far as i am concerned, very comfy and warm and breathe well. I would happily buy tenson again. A
