II, thanks I missed it, meant to clear up tomorrow so if it keeps snowing (even if it is a bit wet) maybe some good turns will be made!

May be a little windy first thing but is supposed to ease. (it's been blowing a gale and hoseing it down with rain all day here)
Really hopefull that Nevis and Glencoe have got a good wedge of snow above 2500ft (I'm only 40miles from Nevis as the crow flies)
Glenshee is on my to do list this year but no tomorrow...

helena57, yeh NOT snowblades though
I am not great at the whole going backwards thing, twin tip or no twin tip I'm not overly concerned. Needs a small turn for tricky situations though.

what's "wrong" with snowblades ?
I just bought 2 pairs today !, is it a real "no, no" for a proper skier ?

And love to help out and answer questions and of course, read each other's snow reports.

whats wrong with snow blades? they dont (or didn't) have release bindings which can lead to horrible injurys, in my case ripped medial ligaments - never again!
