Hi there, has any one done the off piste around st.foy?, some one told me you can ride down into the valley(not Saint Bourg Maurice side) and get a bus back to st.Foy, anyone got any routes that would be great.
Thanks

ste, ... this area is just awesome and has some really beautiful off-piste ...
.... but it can be a fairly dangerous place. If you are new to the area, I would suggest a guide is essential to get a safe overview.
When do expect to be there .. ?

norris: No, say more! Probably done it, but never heard that name? One of the couloirs down from the Cross? The one near the bottom of the Fogliettaz run?

stevomcd, I heard they may be having more buses making the round trip to La Masure this season. Do you know if that is true?

You know it makes sense.

Don't know, but I'll check it out next time I'm at the Tourist Office. Web-site still has last year's info... typical!

stevomcd, Couloir Dudu is way back beyond the Fogliettaz, keep going past the Col Argentiere and its on the peak there that drops down to the refuge. If you have the access to the Vamos Tarentaise ski Touring book its in that.
