Haven't heard any results.
What was her placing yesterday? She is not having too wonderful a season poor thing.

There's a thread about it somewhere, can't remember the outcome but some people preferred not to see results, especially in the thread title, before they'd had a chance to watch the race highlights on the box...

Who would be a professional ski racer... they don't earn that much even right at the top of their profession, and most of them are walking wounded by the time they're in their 30s. Following on from top Swiss hope Didier Cuche's ACL injury in training a few day's ago, the best French downhiller (and the only one in contention this season) appears to have suffered a similar fate in training today in Chamonix for tomorrow's WC downhill. Antoine Deneriaz from the Grand Massif landed badly after a jump and has been helicoptered off to hospital, the extent of his injury is unknown as yet.
It's a risky business - was up at Les Arcs watching training a couple of days back and our best 14 year old girl suffered the same fate on the GS course. Out for at least the remainder of the season as a result.

I've been watching the Chemmy diaries on C4.....what a life! Apart from a few hours shopping in St Moritz she seems to do nothing but travel, train and race. Dedication beyond the call of duty I think!
