Help!!
Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better!
Registration's totally free, of course, and makes snowHeads easier to use and to understand, gives better searching, filtering etc. as well as access to 'members only' forums, discounts and deals that U don't even know exist as a 'guest' user. (btw. 50,000+ snowHeads already know all this, making snowHeads the biggest, most active community of snow-heads in the UK, so you'll be in good company)..... When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

Hi,
Really sorry if these have been asked/answered before, I have tried a search and found tons of info but not specifically what I was looking for.
Firstly, can someone explain the difference between Carte Niege and Carre Niege. I see there is a website
www.carreniege.com
but I read both reffered too and can't find a website for the Carte. Sorry if I am being thick but am new to this.
Secondly, I have established that I would like to buy the insurance, how would I do this? Our lessons, ski hire and lift pass have all been bought in a bundle from our ski-school? I understand most people get it with their lift pass, is there anyway to buy it otherwise?
Thanks,
Mike

Carré Neige - daily insurance sold with liftpass, Carte Niege is the annual equivalent.
If you find the forum search useless (quite possible because of snowheads non-policy on forum section and thread discipline) let google be your friend to search the site.

Well, the person's real but it's just a made up name, see?

You can buy the CN insurance as a top up to a lift pass bought through a tour operator.
You need to

to know who's really who.

, take your lift pass along to lift pass selling place, show it to them and ask for carre neige. They'll sell it to you for a few Euros per day and give you a slip of paper - keep this slip safe and on your person when you are skiing.
Anyway, snowHeads is much more fun if you do.

Thanks very much for the help, achilles - I never realised you could use google to search within a site - cheers for that.
