Poster: A snowHead

Hi guys did I dream it or is there a shuttle bus from Bourg to La Rosiere? I seem to think that when we were there last year there was a mention of it.
Just to fill you in we are staying in our motorhome in Bourg and skiing Les Arcs for a week as per last year then moving to Courchevel for the New year week but just thought we would try La Rosiere for a day of so. I know there is a shuttle from Seez upto La Rosiere but just pondering how to get to Seez.

Obviously A snowHead isn't a real person

If the road is clear you can take the motorhome to the car park of the lowest station which is about 5 miles from Boug and avoid all the hairpin bends. From memory there may be one or two minor ones at the lower level.
I would go there pretty early in the morning to claim a space. There are two car parks there. Choose the one nearest to the exit in your case. Depending on the snow condition the run coming down may not be complete but the lift operators there are quite happy people use the same lift to come down.
I also think there is a bus service from Seez but never use it myself.

There is a minibus type coach that runs between La Rosiere and Bourg. We got it from La Ros to Bourg in the morning and back late afternoon after skiing Les Arc. Not sure how many times a day it run though

sagedog, there is a bus from BSM to La Rosiere but your best bet is to take the free navette from BSM to Ecudets and take the chair up to La Rosiere, you can then exchange your daily lift pass for a vin chaud at the Vieux Chalet at the end of the day.

Cheers, everyone pretty happy to drive so will have a look depending on the snow, apparently Bourg had 10cm of snow this morning.

It's not for free AFAIK. There is a deposit of a few Euros on the La Ros ski pass (or was last time I skied there), which the Vieux Chalet at the bottom of Ecudets accepts in payment for a vin chaud or chocolate chaud A nice thing to look forward to if the snow is good enough for a fast blast down the piste to Ecudets.

Need to try that one! There is an awesome trail down under the Ecudets lift that we ride mountain bikes on in the summer and we often call into the Vieux Chalet. Never actually been to that part of La Rosiere in the winter.
