Mail for help.Help!!

Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better! Registration's totally free, of course, and makes snowHeads easier to use and to understand, gives better searching, filtering etc. as well as access to 'members only' forums, discounts and deals that U don't even know exist as a 'guest' user. (btw. 50,000+ snowHeads already know all this, making snowHeads the biggest, most active community of snow-heads in the UK, so you'll be in good company)..... When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

Cortina is reporting 150cm of new snow as of this morning (probably the accumulation since Friday) and a piste depth measurement of an extraordinary 120/180cm. Similar powder conditions apply across the open areas of the region.

More snow (50-70cm) Shocked is forecast today and avalanche warning is at level 4.

This is an unbelievable start to the season for this region, which in recent years has had to make do with mostly man-made snow as a base. snowHead

A lot more areas will be opening this weekend (6th Dec) including the complete Sella Ronda.

Hi johnboy, hows everything up North, it's cold down here

Not so good for Venice though

'The Italian city of Venice has been hit by its worst floods in more than 20 years. Residents and tourists have been forced to wade through knee-high water after the sea level topped 61 inches, well past the 40-inch flood mark. Most streets have been submerged, including St Mark's Square, the landmark piazza that is the lowest point in the city.'
