Hubby and I would love it, but need granny to look after the kids, or they'd kill each other. Come to think of it they'd love it too, but will be at school.

Does straight/not so straight refer to our style of skis?

2 hour drive for me so I could be up for some early season fun. PG, Cafe Face has MUCH cheaper apres ski beers...

RD fair enough, still haven't got over the 7,30 euros I spent on an Irish coffee in Tignes the other week!

You know it makes sense.

Can't remember the name.... Auberge de ???.... as you come off the Lanches at Val Claret, with the long car park on your left there's a little square in the first block of buildings on your right, and it's the big bar/restaurant immediately facing you, roadside....

Otherwise you'll just go on seeing the one name:

Yes know the one you mean - I was staying in Val Claret in December just along the road from that place. In fact I was in that bar many evenings for the odd bit of apres ski - luckily I stuck to beer rather than Irish coffess! Even then it's not cheap - I remember a couple of times we had to hang around a bit before ordering as the bell hadn't struck for happy hour!
