A month early too! The Traverse, Coire Cas and ZigZags are pisted and open. The terrain is skiable back down to the base. Prices are adults £15 per dat, £10 for children. The sledge park is currently free.
The snow looks good - I guess God must have recently taken up skiing!

God thundereth marvellously with his voice; great things doeth he, which we cannot comprehend. For he saith to the snow, Be thou on the earth

I wish He would hurry up and "saith" it in this neck of the woods...

Martin Bell, it's a terrible sign:
Drought and heat consume the snow waters: so doth the grave those which have sinned

Superb day. Snow was unbelievable! Loads of powder. I was up to my waist in snow at one point.
One of the best days skiing I'v had since starting earlier this year. And I had some cracking days in April!
Legs are in need of some rest. Back up tomorrow to make the most of it again though! Wahoooo

laundryman, according to the Douay bible:
"He commandeth the snow to go down upon the earth, and the winter rain, and the shower of his strength."
But apparently "Out of the inner parts shall a tempest come, and cold out of the North.", not to mention "When God bloweth there cometh frost, and again the waters are poured out abundantly."
On a par with Nostradamus really.

I'v got some pics from today. Not the best. 2meg camera phone. At around 1230pm we skied down the slope one over from the white lady. At the top it was untouched. Not one mark. So Myself and the two guys i was skiing with laid our prints, stopped half way down to take a photo of them only to see 3 other guys following us! Ill get them up ASAP. Just gotta transfer them from my phone.
Can't wait for tomorrow now. Gonna sleep like a log!

The Lecht and Nevis Range are open too. The Lecht has 5 runs open, apparently. Please let it last til next weekend. I've still got cleaning and waxing to do!

And love to help out and answer questions and of course, read each other's snow reports.

Nevis Open? You sure, I thought they were quite a bit off opening due to the amount of snow the place needs.
Gondolas open for people visiting the Cafe at the top etc right enough.

Yup, you're right. On further inspection, the Nevis range is just open for the cafe. Must remember 'open uplifts' does not necessarily mean runs down!

You know it makes sense.
