Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better! (btw. 50,000+ snowHeads already know all this, making snowHeads the biggest, most active community of snow-heads in the UK, so you'll be in good company)..... When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

I have to report the best snow here for years.
1.2m fell in three days on an already good base. Another 20cm yesterday.
These conditions are exceptional for this time of year. Resort is very quiet which leaves the mountain empty for us locals.
Tempertures still remain very low, and new snow is forecast. Although off-piste is a little heavy it is skiable with no crust, the only
problem being small trees and bushes now beneath the surface which can hook you up. The cover in places now on the top (Todorka)
is in excess of 2m and we can expect the season to continue to the end of April at least.
I know we cannot expect to compete with the large Alpine resorts, but frankly with no one here, its like having your own mountain Very Happy
