stevo_the_saddler, This time next week I'll be hitting the slopes - yippee! I'm grateful that the resort I am going to only opens on 18th, so hopefully the snow will still be in excellent condition. If, on the other hand I wasn't going for a few more weeks, yes I would be selfish and wish they would leave it all alone!

stevo_the_saddler, I'm afraid that while it's selfish, it's too late. I personally tracked out the last of the snow yesterday before treating myself to an excellent lunch.

David Murdoch, If you are prepared to skin up a mountain, I dont begrudge you. Its the silly snowboards and snowplooughers that will do the damage, the snow at the top will be at the bottom within hours

I've been doing exactly the same on the Grand Massif webcams. I was mightily unimpressed to see people this morning ruining MY snow...
