Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better! Registration's totally free, of course, and makes snowHeads easier to use and to understand, gives better searching, filtering etc. as well as access to 'members only' forums, discounts and deals that U don't even know exist as a 'guest' user. (btw. 50,000+ snowHeads already know all this, making snowHeads the biggest, most active community of snow-heads in the UK, so you'll be in good company)..... When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

Vail Lift Pass... Pre book?

I'm heading to Vail for the the first time in Jan 09 and trying to get my head around lift passes. Does anyone have any historic knowledge or views... Is it worth pre booking or will I get the best 10 day pass when in resort? Any advice gratefully received...

Depending on how you booked you might find your condo/resort owner can offer you a good deal. I've been to Vail resorts for the last two years and have got good discounts both times. First was to book passes through the condo agent, the other was through American Ski Classics which saved me between 40-50% on window rates.

You'll have a great time in Vail - I'm a little envious!

Epic Pass is cheaper than a 10-day pass

But you've got to be quick.

Expires on the 15th which I believe it still is in the US

Many thanks for your help and quick responses.... Managed to grab an Epic Pass before the dealine passed... May just be the excuse I need to return again before the end of the seasn Madeye-Smiley

Seen the exchange rate? Hope it would not get worse, worht waiting on this angle alone. I am for my hols on the euro.
