Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better! When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

i am debating whether to book for whistler now either 14th-17th jan so i know i can get the hotel i want or wait until early jan to try and get a late deal. im a bit worried if i leave it until then there wont be much in the way to choose from in regards hotels and dates i can go. anyone has any experience booking late for whistler?

colors, flights would be expensive if you booked late I would imagine.

Depends whether you are going package (chalet) or hotel. If the latter almost no chance of getting a significantly better late deal than you'd get as an early booking discount especially if snow turns out to be good. If the former you might get lucky with a couple of unsold spaces but I understand TOs are going to be very carefully manageing capacity this year.
