I'm off to canada mid-may next year and was wondering what resport you guys suggest and what the condidtions are like at that time of year.
I've only skied Kaprun in may and that was strickly mornings only, can i expect the same over there? Should i be choosing glacier resorts only?
Cheers

Louise/Sunshine shuts around about the 15th IIRC. Most other (lower) resorts will be well over by mid April.

Yeah Sunshine generally shuts around the 20th due to lack of visitors. Whistler/BComb may be your only option.

And make sure your clothing is waterproof - it WILL rain on the lower slopes and in the village,

Pretty sure all of the Interior BC type hills will be shut mid april - I guess it's possible they'll stretch out to May 1st with easter being late this year...

You can ski the glaciers at Whistler/Blackcomb. Our ski team generally trains there in the summer months.
