fatbob,  , no they're tele skis I bought at the Vail ski swap for $80 five years ago!
Useful link from Grizzly Outfitters. The trailhead is at around 8000 feet (2400m).
It was an above average snow year this winter and the spring has been cool and damp.
But apparently there have been June freshies at Beehive in the past - in good years.

FAQ
, does it ever stop snowing over there? Is this just a strange year weather wise or do you get the chance to ski this late most years? I think I'm living on the wrong continent.
