Poster: A snowHead
|
Hi everyone,
I'm thinking of taking some lessons at my local dry slope, hopefully to reinforce the progress i made during the winter.
My questions are:
1) Has anyone any experience of lessons or instructors at this venue?
2) Do youthink that taking lessons on a dry slope will be of any real benefit?
3) If the answer to question 2 is no, what would you suggest i do other than to just keeping generally fit?
I consider myself a reasonable intermediate, comfortable on most red and black runs.
Thanking you in advance.

richlott, I used to work there (a long time ago ) Beanie1 trains there, so she'll have up to date info. IMV - Nice slope (love the bumps) - but no misting means is sloooooooooow in the summer.

Afraid i don't know much about lessons there, i only help out with the race squad. I know one excellent instructor who teaches there in the winter but not in the summer, i guess he may be back in the autumn if you can wait till then. Don't know any of the others.

beanie1, you going to be there for the race on Saturday? I notice you're not yet registered on the startlist - you have until Wednesday. This is a really fun region to race in, and actually has competition in it in your agegroup, some pretty stiff, some less so.
