Help!!
Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better!
Registration's totally free, of course, and makes snowHeads easier to use and to understand, gives better searching, filtering etc. as well as access to 'members only' forums, discounts and deals that U don't even know exist as a 'guest' user. (btw. 50,000+ snowHeads already know all this, making snowHeads the biggest, most active community of snow-heads in the UK, so you'll be in good company)..... When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

Even with the hot weather yesterday, the Cairngorm ski resort was still open at the weekend, more than 5 months after opening on 4th December.
This makes it the longest season seen in the region in recent years. Two major runs were still in use and, with no wind on top of the mountain, conditions were described as "very warm". ...The resort may even open next weekend, "subject to snow and weather conditions".

It was a fantastic day, in fact an excellent weekend to cap a wonderful season!
I took the whole family up and they had a great few days, including rides on the pisting machines and loads iof other stuff laid on by Cairngorm Mountain.
It was actually possible to ski down to the middle station via the Cas, with only the last few metres needing a walk to get to the funicular.
Classic stuff and the sun and snow was amazing yesterday
Well, the person's real but it's just a made up name, see?

Good to see Scotland getting plenty of snow.
Even better to see Cairngorm improving its customer service and adopting a more American style of promotion.

Yup, agree with that and they've even got mountain ambassadors now who ski around the mountain and advise, guide and help people - rather like what I've seen in the USA too
