jbob, they are incredible! They really highlight (especially the bottom one) just how small and insignificant we actually are compared to the mountains we ski!

Steilhang, Where is the photographer in that shot? Suspended in mid-air (chairlift perhaps?) or in a helicopter? Od did the skier whose tracks are to the left ski straight into a cliff?

here's a wee version of one of them
we skied pretty much every chute on the right hand side through all the rocks and the dark bit underneath the first big fluffy cloud on the right was the steepest thing i skied there. Amazing stuff and as has been said before, you truly know just how small you are when up there. best viewed big though.

This is my favourite from this season even though we had some fab ones of the Matterhorn on our New Year trip to Zermatt. This was the last day of our trip to Val d'Isere and it was perfect in every way.
