Mail for help.Help!!

Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better! Registration's totally free, of course, and makes snowHeads easier to use and to understand, gives better searching, filtering etc. as well as access to 'members only' forums, discounts and deals that U don't even know exist as a 'guest' user. (btw. 50,000+ snowHeads already know all this, making snowHeads the biggest, most active community of snow-heads in the UK, so you'll be in good company)..... When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

A guide to Les Arcs

 Poster: A snowHead
Poster: A snowHead
Hello fellow snowHead

I've been given the use of an apartment in Arc1950 next week (Sat 12th to Sat 19th). I've been to Les Arcs once before about 5 years ago but don't remember much about the ski area apart from the great view off the Aiguille Rouge. It was actually my last ski trip to Europe as since then I've been addicted to the pow of Fernie and Colorado. I ski to decent standard and enjoy the powder (use protection kids!).

Anyways, I'm after some info on where's good to ski on a bluebird day, a white out day and when it's busy? Any other insider info would be greatly appreciated.

Jimbo Read, I am sure someone else will be along to give full guidance but 1950 is an amazing location for Les Arcs, forecast is cracking for next week and it will be dead on the slopes. You will have a blast. Cool

I know but for the first time and probably the last time for the next 10+ years I'll get 3 trips to Paradski in one season and its the season the fecking washing line is shut Mad . We use it a lot so so much prefer to be having a blast on either side though being 'stuck' on one side still beats working Toofy Grin

Jimbo Read, if you can pick up a copy of the SnowMole Guide to les Arcs its a bit out of date, 1 or 2 lifts and restaurants have changed, but its very informative about slopes, restaurants and other useful info. Have a great trip. If not there is lots of useful info available through the search function on this site. snowHead
