Poster: A snowHead
|
Hello fellow
I've been given the use of an apartment in Arc1950 next week (Sat 12th to Sat 19th). I've been to Les Arcs once before about 5 years ago but don't remember much about the ski area apart from the great view off the Aiguille Rouge. It was actually my last ski trip to Europe as since then I've been addicted to the pow of Fernie and Colorado. I ski to decent standard and enjoy the powder (use protection kids!).
Anyways, I'm after some info on where's good to ski on a bluebird day, a white out day and when it's busy? Any other insider info would be greatly appreciated.

Jimbo Read, I am sure someone else will be along to give full guidance but 1950 is an amazing location for Les Arcs, forecast is cracking for next week and it will be dead on the slopes. You will have a blast.

Jimbo Read, if you can pick up a copy of the SnowMole Guide to les Arcs its a bit out of date, 1 or 2 lifts and restaurants have changed, but its very informative about slopes, restaurants and other useful info. Have a great trip. If not there is lots of useful info available through the search function on this site.
