Is it a good thing to meet up with fellow Snowheads - do you interact with everyone differently when you get back to cyberspace after the events?

Yes, afterwards it's like you can smell everyone as you read their posts.
But that doesn't mean you can back out of the EoSB now you know!

Well, the person's real but it's just a made up name, see?

Megamum,
It is fantastic to meet snowheads:
I have met them:
In the Harbour Bar, Portrush
In La Rosiere
In a freezer in MK
In a restaurant in Christchurch
In Les Deux Alpes
I think you can be a be more familiar with people once you've met them in the flesh.

Look. I know I sweat like a pig when I am skiing with you guys. But I do wash at home. I don't smell at all when I am tapping away on my computer.

Anyway, snowHeads is much more fun if you do.

It definitely changes the way that you interact with people.....hopefully positively!!

Megamum, as you have met several sHs already, you are perhaps more able to answer your own question than many on here . . . so what do you think ?
boredsurfin, MM has met Masque

Megamum, yes. I post much more banal rubbish on here than I used to.

boredsurfin, IncogSkiSno, let's get this right . . . I'm old enough to be her Father, so a little less implication please . . . I am though quite enamoured by her cakes

I believe that would mean you were rather precocious but so what, maybe she likes older men.

IncogSkiSno, OK, I think the relationships change. With those I have met there seems (on the whole - certain Snowheads excluded) less ribald commentary and jokes and more down to earth comments. I think perhaps that makes things less entertaining. The problem is once someone meets you there is no more hiding behind a screen name - people know who you are when you are being discussed - scary I think!! So far it's not made a difference to chatting away on here as I've not met many of you, but that will change post April.

The most worrying thing is that you might up with someone you have been chatting away with on-line and then find that it's someone you've known for years and you've both not realised - now that could be embarassing!!

You know it makes sense.

Megamum, why would it be embarrassing, unless you were really dull in real life, but quite interesting online? (or vice-versa)

Ther is a certain snowHead that I have met several times, who in person is so far removed from their SH persona, I would have sworn it wasn't the same person. I like both characters though.
