Mail for help.Help!!

Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better! Registration's totally free, of course, and makes snowHeads easier to use and to understand, gives better searching, filtering etc. as well as access to 'members only' forums, discounts and deals that U don't even know exist as a 'guest' user. (btw. 50,000+ snowHeads already know all this, making snowHeads the biggest, most active community of snow-heads in the UK, so you'll be in good company)..... When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

lift share -Grenoble to Serre Chevalier area Saturday 22nd March

 Poster: A snowHead
Poster: A snowHead
My oldest boy (19) is flying into Grenoble on Saturday 22nd March with Globespan from Edinburgh arrving 1750.

He's just realised he will miss the no 35 bus that he needs to catch to take him to Chantemerle. To make things worse, the bus isn't running next day (easter Sunday) so he can't rough it for a night to catch the bus the next morning.

Driving/hiring a car isn't an option for him, and a single hire transefer will be around the £300 mark-which he can't afford.

He is staying with a friend, so what was to be a real cheap holiday will now cost him an awful lot more and as he is only an apprentice, he can't afford too much

Can anyone help? He would obviusoly be happy to share his fair share of costs.

He's a fine lad, bit shy and not really ablt to sort this out himself.

Any help would be much appreciated

well we got the travel sorted and blow me last night his friend called to say the hotel they are staying in is closed for the season due to cancellations.

We've not heard back from him, so he has decided just to go out, but he doesn't know if he has a bed for tonight or not!

he should be OK, but, worst case, he could get there tonight and have nowhere to stay if all hotels are full. We have been trying th einternet with no success.

If anyone is in the Chantemerle area that can offer any back up suggestions as to where to stay, that would be great.

In meanyiome he is checked in and leaves in 1 hour-he's pretty worried, but is still detremine dto go!

Helen Beaumont,

Helen,

It turned out in the end his friend had been sacked for boozing on duty! It all worked out in the end as his friend eventally picked up our emails and made arangements for him to stay at the hotel, even although he himself had move dto another resort.

Anyway they had 3 great days ski-ing together and then his friend had to go back to the Uk as he had no work. Our boy had a couple of days on his own, which was "OK", but at least he had a few days skiing.

Thanks for offering to help.
