Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better!
Registration's totally free, of course, and makes snowHeads easier to use and to understand, gives better searching, filtering etc. as well as access to 'members only' forums, discounts and deals that U don't even know exist as a 'guest' user. (btw. 50,000+ snowHeads already know all this, making snowHeads the biggest, most active community of snow-heads in the UK, so you'll be in good company)..... When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

Being a teacher i only get a chance to ski in the school holidays. Always go during the easter hols but always try and go the 'other week' (not arriving easter saturday. I've always presumed this week will be less busy on slopes and cheaper etc. Is this the case? Everyone i know (even teachers) seem to go easter week.
What are the positives/negatives of each week? Am i doing the right thing every year?

, that seems to be my experience. everyone heads off the 1st week of the 2 and the 2nd week is far quieter. Not sure about cheaper, as I'm usually on a school trip.

, We're taking the kids to Ischgl the 2nd week. It was (a bit) cheaper but also had more last minute availability so i think it must be quieter.

im a teacher too and always go the 'other' week of easter hols. not sure about cheaper - apart from the flights - but i think a little quieter! going to Les arcs on the 29th - cant wait - only 12 more sleeps!!!!
