Frosty, If you use the "Print Screen" button on your keyboard, you can then paste the Screenshot into an image application if you've got one. then save as an image and upload to the SnowMediazone.

What fabulous piccies folks - I don't know which I like best - the one of Meribel is great, but the others are good too. I'm afraid I've got my children on my desktop so that's not so interesting.

Out of interest, can only link thumbnail from SMZ now - sure there was a facility for larger image before and having just checked where I have done this before, all the piccies have turned to red crosses.
Piccies are still on SMZ

I have the desktop saved but I'm struggling with the snowMedia zone, I'm trying to register(I assume I have to do this to upload pictures here) but the site tells me my username already exists (but it doesn't). I expect 'm just being dim, could someone turn the light on for me please..

Nice photos
What is the reason behind not being allowed to post large pictures?
It's really annoying having to click links, I tend to just ignore the wee ones.

Frosty, Perhaps someone else already logged on as Frosty - why not try Frosty1 and then use your snowheads password - that way its easy to remember.
As for picture size there used to be sticky - might still be - that asked us to only post linked thumbnails as some peoples browsers and download speed find difficulties with full blown large piccies in threads. Also they can muck up the page display width as has happened in this thread.

not sure it was worth waiting for when I look at some of the others here which look great. I have several mountain photos I like to put on my desktop but this is my favourite. I took it very late in April in Montriond/Morzine 2006 and I like it best because although it looks like winter has all but ended, I know though that it snowed the very next day and all you can see in the foreground was completly white again, winter was back at least for a while

Thanks Megamum your mega !!

Frosty, That's it - neat photo, love the mountain in the background. More info that might be useful: if you scroll down below the photo when its displayed there is a box that says - 'linked thumbnail' if you click in this it will automaticaly select - do a Control+C and it will copy - arrive at your thread and do a Control+V and it will paste the copied string into the thread. Other users should then see a linked thumbnail image.
