When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

Nordica SmarTECH boots???

Does anyone know anything about the Nordica SmarTECH 10 Boots? Are these a good boot, both for performance and comfort? I'm a ski instructor, and was wondering about these boots, as it's time for my atomic boots to be gone...

I've read alot of reviews on these, and they all seem good ...but would like to know if anyone has actually tried these...thanks

I had a pair of the 10's which I sold last month (they were too small and pinching my feet) Bought a pair of Smartech 12's to replace them in the next size and are fantastic. Dead easy to fasten and release, extremely light compared to normal all plastic boots, and have a nice wide fit if you have wide feet. My best pal has just bought a pair of the 10's as well. We both wore them for the 1st time on the Castleford snowdome a few weeks ago, and were both well pleased with them.

As your in the USA, you should be looking at cupolosportssale on ebay. I got mine for a whole 99US Dollars plus shipping.
