Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better! Registration's totally free, of course, and makes snowHeads easier to use and to understand, gives better searching, filtering etc. as well as access to 'members only' forums, discounts and deals that U don't even know exist as a 'guest' user. (btw. 50,000+ snowHeads already know all this, making snowHeads the biggest, most active community of snow-heads in the UK, so you'll be in good company)..... When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

Need advice on nightlife in Les2Alpes please

hi guys.

headin out to les2alpes soon from a friday till a tuesday and need to know some good bars/clubs to go to please. anyone know the big nights out there, i'm guessin fri and sat? we're a bunch of 20 year olds going and aren't mad on cheese music, prefer urban music but understand can't be too picky in a ski resort! advice would be greatly appreciated.

You're guessing wrong - Saturday is changeover so both of those nights are quiet. Places to go and get hopelessly drunk with other Brits for the rest of the week are the Polar Bear, Smithy's and the Avalanche.

Fri and Sat will tend to be locals only, due to UK TO's changeover. Sun and Mon - take your pick of any number of bars/clubs...Corrigans was a fave when I worked in LDA - usually heaving after 10pm most nights with regular free shots given out by the friendly owners/staff!

Also check out Le Bluets (typical French bar - with cool music), l'Opera - large club playing diff styles - jungle, house, hip hop, also try Smoky Joe's - this used to play loads of hip hop when I was there.

Smokeys was the weapon of choice last time for me. Check out the dice game... very messy! Can't really comment too much though as I was out there in BUSC week so everything was full of students (not including me I hasten to add...)

jesus, Corrigans has been closed for about the past four seasons, and the Opera has rather fallen out of favour, possibly because people got tired of being offered cocaine evey five minutes. Laughing
