It's not offering a watch or sandals - this clearly is inferior to SAC

Superb offer, but isomething puzzles me. It says the price is 150 Euros, or you can pay 209 Euros and get "free" bindings with them?? Free?

Arno, Think a true Euro version of SAC could work? something I've been wondering about, its certainly a unique method of shifting product.

Butterfly, Skins are used for touring (like hiking, but on skis over snow) - originally made of real skin (mole skins to be precise I think - although the link below suggests seal skins?) they're now likely to be synthetic. They're large pieces of material cut to fit the base of the ski and which allow the ski to run forwards, but due to the direction of the hairs will "grip" the snow and stop the skis sliding in the wrong direction. This means you can walk up hill a little more easily.

Anyone know if I can fit telemark bindings to these?
I'd presumed not when I've looked at them in the shops, but they're offering Marker Duke and Dynafit bindings...

PhillipStanton, don't think they have a hostage plate so why wouldn't you be able to put teles on them?
skins were formerly made out of seal skin. hence the rather satisfying french term for them "peaux de phoque" (excuse bad spelling)

PhillipStanton, I know what you mean, but I've always assumed that you can drill straight into it so it's OK for teles. i know there are some people on TGR who tele with BSquads which have the same thing so I would think you'd be OK. maybe give Sport Conrad a call - I hear they speak good English and are really helpful

SAC from those backcountry.com B&*(%)$ds? Pah. (well they do like to rule out any possible chance of escaping duty/import tax/whatever it's called, and indeed my smug smile at the thought of a bargain had at the behest of the exchange rate, by very helpfully and very clearly pasting the invoice, with details for all to read, on the outside of the parcel.) buyers beware...

for those needing something fat, today's bargain is K2 Seth Vicious for €300. €359 with the basic Marker bindings which is a steal.
Tempting, but I'd rather have their Gotamas for €399. if I hadn't already blown this year's gear budget on the last set of Mantras from Conrad a few weeks ago I'd do it...

K2 Hippy Stinx 07/08 on there at the moment for 250 Euros, no idea about the ski but cracking name

Note that all the skis they have advertised using this promotion have stayed the same price after the supposed 24 hour promotion has finished - PEs still at 250, Seth still 300, Hellbents still at 399 etc...
